District Heights resident Christopher Mozee has been identified by investigators as the person who was fatally shot on Saturday morning at Potomac High School.

Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called at approximately 11:20 a.m. on June 15 to the school on Boydell Avenue, where they found Mozee suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Mozee was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries. A child also suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators say that it is believed the shooting stemmed from an argument among spectators at the event. The shooter fled and has not been apprehended days later.

No additional details were provided by the police.

The incident remains under investigation.
